ChampionChip® Electronic Timing System
All Sneak participants will wear a small computer chip attached
to the top of one shoe to accurately time and score racers. Your
race results will be emailed to you directly following the race.
In order to receive your results, you MUST provide
an email address on the race registration form.
- You must wear the chip at all times during the race
- Use one cable tie – thread it around the barrel of
the Chip and under a shoelace. Fasten it snugly so the Chip
rests on the outside of either foot
- You must run/walk over the mats at the race start and finish
to receive race times. Do not cross the start or finish mats
more than once.
- The Chip must be returned to the Volunteers at the finish
line who will assist you with its removal. Lost chips are the
participant’s financial responsibility.
- If you pick up a Chip and don’t race or don’t
complete the race you MUST return the Chip to the race office
or mail it with 60 cents postage to:
Timberline Timing Systems, Inc.
PO Box 609
Fort Collins, CO 80522
- Please wrap the Chip before inserting in an envelope – otherwise
it will poke a hole in a thin envelope and be lost.
- Do not lose the ChampionChip®; a $30 replacement fee
will be charged to any participant who fails to return the
Chip at the finish line.
- Chips are not transferable, be careful not to switch Chips
with roommates, etc.
- If you own your own Chip and intend to race with it BE SURE
you have notified race registration of your Chip code and turned
in your rental Chip.
